gathered 11 performers and 35 witnessers to crescendo into a community ritual experience, the story/script was written in a way to inspire improv and people stretching into new creative roles.

alonside my collaborator Selena Feliciano I created a one day artist residency for 12 BIPOC residents of the East Bay to step into their creativity, challenge the norms set on them around accessing their freedom to express. this residency was for folks who don’t identify as artists and who feel barriers to entering creative spaces.
seeder & co-facilitator started by Sanu Dewa and I in response to community’s desires for a labratory to cultivate new practices and techniques for facilitating creativity, this group was created to support those stepping into a deeper sense of their creative selves. based in the East Bay, the model for this collective is one that is easily replicable through its practice of emergence.

in collaboration with Joyous Dawn, we opened up a gathering space for queer people of color to gather and work on our song writing practice. this was in conjunction with being with land, and thinking about right stewardship.

alongside collaborator Emerson Shiang we created an affinity group during Covid for our AAPI community to process and to commit to practices of anti-racism.
